Enabled for your account when needed

Some capabilities are part of the relevant plan but are configured rather than switched on for every new account from day one. These currently include staff/manual bookings, add-ons, payment links, invoices and credit notes, counter sales, Stripe Terminal, full online payment, MOT and service reminders, booking multiple services, mobile or mixed workshop/mobile operation, and additional export formats. We confirm the required configuration during onboarding.

How setup and onboarding work

Payment providers

Stripe, SumUp, Square and Dojo online-payment paths are supported according to the configured journey. Dojo is a live online-payment provider; automated Dojo setup verification and Dojo card-reader support are not available. The integrated card reader is Stripe Terminal, with SumUp Solo integration coming soon. Providers do not all behave identically for terminals, refunds or reconciliation.

How payments work

Common questions

Is there a contract?

No fixed term. The subscription rolls monthly and you can cancel before your next billing date. The full terms are in the subscription agreement.

Do you take a share of my payments?

No. Customers pay you through your own payment provider account. There is no METBooker fee per booking and no METBooker percentage of customer payments; your provider’s normal processing fees still apply.

Is everything switched on from the start?

No. Some capabilities in the plan are configured for your account rather than switched on for every new account from day one, including staff bookings, add-ons and payment links. We confirm the configuration you need during onboarding.

Which payment providers can I use?

Stripe, SumUp, Square and Dojo online-payment paths are supported according to the configured journey. The integrated card reader is Stripe Terminal, with SumUp Solo integration coming soon. Dojo card readers are not supported, and automated Dojo setup verification is not available. Providers differ in their refund and reconciliation behaviour.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can download your records, and a final export process applies as set out in the data processing agreement and subscription agreement.
