For DPF specialists
Book the DPF work you actually perform
A DPF job may be a vehicle diagnosis, remove-clean-refit service, component-only clean, trade drop-off or mobile visit. METBooker lets the service, capacity, duration and payment route reflect those differences.
One phrase, several jobs
Customers ask for "a DPF clean". The business may mean a diagnosis, a remove-clean-refit, a filter brought in on its own or a batch from a trade customer.
Each of those uses different time, a different person and different machine capacity. METBooker lets you sell them as the distinct services they are, so the booking matches the work.
- How work arrives
- Vehicle jobs, component-only jobs and trade drop-offs
- What shapes capacity
- Diagnosis stages, machine capacity and mobile or workshop mode
- How people are allocated
- Services assigned to the technicians who perform them
- How payment is taken
- Deposit at booking, balance by link or at collection
- Vehicle information
- Registration lookup for vehicle jobs; component details for component-only work
01
Separate the stages customers confuse
Describe diagnosis, removal, cleaning, testing and refitting clearly so customers and staff understand what is included. Build them as distinct services or appropriate combinations rather than a single ambiguous “DPF clean”.
Booking and diary02
Protect equipment and drop-off capacity
Apply timed availability where a technician is required and daily limits where vehicles or components are dropped off. This prevents online availability from promising more machine or workshop capacity than the day can hold.
03
Handle vehicle and component-only jobs
Collect the details relevant to a vehicle booking and distinguish them from a component-only or trade booking. METBooker does not currently provide parts inventory or courier management.
Customers and vehicles04
Workshop and mobile operation
Use workshop slots for diagnosis and machine work, mobile feasibility where an engineer travels, or a mixed configuration where enabled.
Mobile and mixed workshop and mobile operation are configured during onboarding.
How travel-aware booking works05
Payment and repeat work
Take a deposit, send a balance link and produce the relevant invoice or export where enabled. Use MOT or service reminders only where they are genuinely relevant to the configured customer journey.
Payment links, invoices and reminders are configured for your account during onboarding.
PaymentsFrom choice to the right booking
What the DPF workflow recording shows: the customer’s choice decides which operational booking is created.
- Chosen
The customer picks diagnosis, remove-clean-refit or a component-only clean.
- Placed
Timed work goes to an eligible technician; drop-offs count against the day’s limit.
- Worked
The job moves through in progress to complete.
- Paid
The balance is paid against the same job, and the invoice follows where enabled.
What to know first
- METBooker books the work, takes the payment and keeps the records. It does not depend on which DPF cleaning machine you use.
- There is no parts inventory, stock control or courier management.
- Drop-off limits are set per service; mobile, mixed operation, payment links, invoices and reminders are configured during onboarding.
Common questions
Can I sell diagnosis, cleaning and refitting separately?
Yes. Each can be its own service with its own price, duration, eligible staff and deposit, or offered as an appropriate combination such as remove, clean and refit.
Can I limit how many DPFs are dropped off a day?
Yes. A drop-off service carries a daily limit, so online availability stops offering that day once the machine capacity you set is reached.
Can trade customers drop off components only?
Yes. A component-only or trade service can be set up separately from vehicle bookings, with business details captured. METBooker does not manage parts inventory or couriers.
Does METBooker depend on which cleaning machine I use?
No. METBooker books the work, takes the payment and keeps the records, whatever equipment you use.
Can I run mobile DPF visits as well as workshop work?
Yes, where mobile or mixed workshop and mobile operation is configured. Mobile visits are offered only when the journey fits around the engineer’s other work.
